MCP & API keys

Drive Nexavers from an AI assistant or your own code.

Nexavers isn’t only operated through its interface — AI assistants and your own code can drive it too, through MCP tools and API keys.

MCP tools

A connected AI assistant can use MCP tools including:

  • nexavers_search_assets – search files in the library
  • nexavers_list_folders – list folders
  • nexavers_tag_media – apply tags to files
  • nexavers_create_folder – create a new folder

Creating an API key

Under Settings → Connections, create an API key. You choose whether the key is scoped to Nexavers only, or also to your other connected apps.

Scope

A key scoped to Nexavers only reaches your Nexavers library. A cross-app key also works in the other connected apps it’s been granted access to.
